Fiesta is BACK!
The traditional Fiesta Mexicana will take place from Thursday, July 14th through Saturday, July 16th on the grounds of our Lady of Guadalupe Church in the Oakland neighborhood. Each night, you can take in the sights, sounds, and tastes of Topeka’s rich Hispanic heritage!
The fiesta is Our Lady of Guadalupe Church’s annual fundraiser for Holy Family School. The fiesta, since its inception in 1933, is planned and operated by parish and community volunteers.
Food windows will open at 4:00pm each day. For generations Fiesta has been known for its authentic Mexican food offerings. The anticipation of homemade sopa, enchiladas, tamales, burritos, tostadas, and tacos keep people flocking to the church grounds well into the evening!
Music and entertainment will begin at 5:00pm each day. The Latino Culture and Fiesta Mexicana will share the sights and sounds of banda, norteno, salsa and English mainstream acts, while still staying true to the roots of Fiestas mariachi and Tejano groups! Come and enjoy the 2022 Fiesta Mexicana!
